Brewers take game one against Cubs in 13-10 slugfest

Well, it got scary towards the end, but the Milwaukee Brewers held on to beat the Chicago Cubs 13-10. The bats carried the Crew to victory, although it got unnecessarily close in the games final moments.

Milwaukee’s offense got going almost immediately. The MVP Christian Yelich started the scoring with an RBI double that brought Lorenzo Cain in. Ryan Braun cleaned Yelich up with a single, taking an early 2-0 lead.

Yelich added another RBI with a force out in the second and then, Milwaukee broke out the home run bats.
