The Brewers faced a tough task on Monday night, going against an ace for the third straight night while on a two-game losing streak. Unfortunately, it didn’t get any better for them.
Brewers’ starter Tyler Alexander began the night with a strikeout to Justyn-Henry Malloy. After that, he got Gleyber Torres to a 1-2 count but ended up walking him on eight pitches. Andy Ibáñez took advantage of that, hitting a double down the left field line that scored Torres. Two batters later, Dillon Dingler hit the Tigers’ second double of the inning, and the Tigers had an early 2-0 lead.
