Brewers spring training report: Friday at a glance

On the field: Four starts into his spring, Chase Anderson is still searching for results. The right-hander allowed seven hits and four runs (only one earned) over four innings as the Brewers lost to the Cincinnati Reds at Maryvale Baseball Park. The three unearned runs came in the opening inning, after Ryan Braun dropped a two-out fly ball to left, Joey Votto singled and Adam Duvall homered to get the Reds out to the early lead. Three singles and an Anderson throwing error led to the Reds' fourth run in the third. Anderson's spring ERA stands at 10.
