The Milwaukee Brewers reportedly added some more veteran depth to their stable of center field options today. According to Jerry Crasnick of ESPN, the club has agreed to terms with Eric Young, Jr. on a minor league deal that includes an invitation to spring training. Young can reportedly earn a $1 mil base salary plus incentives if he makes the big league team.
The son of former Brewers second baseman Eric Young, Junior hasn't had quite as successful a career to this point as dear old dad had. He was drafted in the 30th round of the 2003 draft by the Colorado Rockies and made his major league debut in 2009.
