The Brewers signed veteran relief pitcher Blaine Boyer to a Minor League contract on Friday and extended the right-hander an invitation to Spring Training.
Boyer made 68 appearances out of the Twins' bullpen last season and posted a 2.49 ERA despite recording only 33 strikeouts over 65 innings. The 34-year-old made a comeback in 2014, pitching 32 games for the Padres after not appearing in the Majors from 2012-13.
