The Brewers took their fourth straight game Sunday afternoon, beating the St. Louis Cardinals at Busch Stadium to complete a three-game sweep of their division rivals.
After a scoreless top of the first, Colin Rea quickly got into trouble in the bottom of the inning. Brendan Donovan bunted for a single before Willson Contreras extended his hitting streak to 14 games with a single of his own.
Lars Nootbaar then hit a deep flyball to center field, which would have been a three-run homer were it not for a leaping Blake Perkins, who reached over the wall to bring it back.
