It turns out former Brewers first round pick Corey Ray’s MLB debut was a short one.
Facing a lack of depth on the infield after Daniel Robertson was hit in the head with a pitch on Sunday, the Brewers decided to send Ray back to the Alternate Training Site ahead of Monday night’s game against the Miami Marlins in favor of utility man Pablo Reyes.
Reyes is able to cover some time in the outfield as well as the infield, likely making him the better option for the Brewers right now.
