It turns out Adrian Houser’s stay in the Milwaukee Brewers rotation was a short one.
The Brewers sent down the young right-hander today after his 4+ inning start that saw him give up 5 runs on 9 hits Monday night. They’ll likely figure out who ends up taking that turn in the rotation in a few days, because in the mean time they’re making a move to help cover another unknown situation in the status of Mike Moustakas.
With Moustakas day-to-day with a finger fracture, the team is calling up Tyler Saladino, presumably to help Hernan Perez cover second base — or, like tonight, cover the utility role while Perez starts.
