Trading season has officially begun for the Milwaukee Brewers.
With less than a month to go until the deadline, the team sent infielder Aaron Hill and cash considerations to the Boston Red Sox on Thursday for a pair of minor-leaguers, right-handed pitcher Aaron Wilkerson and second baseman Wendell Rijo.
The move fits the blueprint for the rebuilding Brewers, as they continue to ship out established major-leaguers for younger, controllable talent.
