Brewers score 7 in ninth for improbable win

St. Louis – Nobody is going to be happier to see the Milwaukee Brewers leave Busch Stadium than Trevor Rosenthal.

The St. Louis Cardinals closer surrendered a pinch-hit grand slam to Jason Rogers in the ninth inning, and the Brewers wound up snatching an improbable 8-4 victory to earn a series split with their Central Division nemesis on Sunday afternoon.

Khris Davis, whose homer in the ninth inning Friday beat Rosenthal and the Cardinals, added a three-run shot for good measure off Seth Maness to give the Brewers their first victory of the season when trailing after eight innings.
