The Milwaukee Brewers have placed outfielder Ben Gamel on the IL and reinstated Josh Lindblom from the bereavement list before today’s game against the Kansas City Royals.

The lefty outfielder has slashed .237/.315/.404 in 127 plate appearances this season. He started the year off hot, with a new swing that generated more power on display in Summer Camp.
