Manager Craig Counsell said that it would have been “risky” to leave Cain in the game and said the Brewers would reassess the situation today, Wednesday. After making the necessary determinations, the move was made to place Cain on the 10-day Injured List with a left quad strain, and Tyrone Taylor was recalled from the Alternate Training Site to fill the vacancy on the roster.
