The Milwaukee Brewers beat the Toronto Blue Jays 3-1 tonight in a pitcher’s duel at American Family Field. Milwaukee got just enough offense off of Jays’ starter José Berríos, while Colin Rea and two of the Brewers’ best relievers shut down the Toronto offense.
In the first inning, Rea gave up a one-out double to Spencer Horwitz (just his second hit of the season) but he was caught at third on a questionable baserunning move when Vladimir Guerrero Jr. grounded to shortstop. A Bo Bichette lineout ended the inning.
