Jimmy Nelson was in good spirits Saturday afternoon.
"I guess I just genetically have a hard head," said the Brewers right-hander.
Nelson could joke two days after being hit on the head by a 108-mph line drive because he was incredibly lucky to avoid serious injury. He spent two nights in Froedtert Hospital, mostly for observation, before reporting back to Miller Park.
"I'm good," said Nelson. "I never lost consciousness or anything. I remembered everything when the trainers came out there. At any point through the whole process, I've never — knock on wood — had any concussion symptoms, headache or anything like that.
