MILWAUKEE -- Struggling Brewers starter Taylor Jungmann will continue his search for answers in the thin air of Triple-A Colorado Springs.
The Brewers on Friday optioned their No. 3 starter to the Minors and called up a reliever, David Goforth. The move came a day after Jungmann surrendered five earned runs on six hits in 3 2/3 innings at frozen Wrigley Field in a loss to the Cubs, dropping Jungmann to 0-4 this season with a 9.15 ERA.
"I would say 'searching' is an accurate word," Jungmann said. "On the mound, when I'm struggling, I tend to search rather than just compete, and I think I still haven't got past that.
