Adrian Houser has been called up several times this year by the Brewers, and each stay has been a short one.
That trend continues today (and likely will until September) with the team announcing they’re sending him back down to Colorado Springs after one day on the active roster and nearly 3 innings soaked up in favor of a fresh arm.
Houser helped save the bullpen and prevent any position players from pitching in Friday night’s 10-1 loss in Atlanta by pitching the final 2.2 innings of the game. He allowed 3 hits and walked 2 batters, but didn’t allow a run, lowering his ERA on the season to 3.
