In a tightly contested matchup, the Brewers ultimately dropped the series finale to the Boston Red Sox in a 2-1 loss.
The pitching from both teams was impressive, making each scoring opportunity precious. The Brewers only put together a few threatening situations, making it difficult to build much of a cushion. The team went 1-for-8 with RISP, but 12 strikeouts was enough to doom the offensive output.
Tobias Myers impressed in his 4 1⁄3 innings of work. Although it was a short outing, he allowed just one run. He gave up six hits, but with only one extra-base hit and no walks, it was a fairly comfortable outing.
