Phoenix — Sean Nolin had a feeling he might wind up a member of the Milwaukee Brewers.
Although it happened 10 days later than he expected, the left-handed pitcher finally finds himself at Maryvale Baseball Park after being claimed off waivers from the Oakland A's.
Nolin was designated for assignment by the A's when they acquired outfielder Khris Davis from the Brewers in exchange for minor-leaguers Jacob Nottingham and Bubba Derby, with Oakland needing space on its 40-man roster.
After claiming Nolin, Milwaukee indirectly ended up netting three players for their former leftfielder.
