Denver — No home runs, no victories.
That has been the story this season for the Milwaukee Brewers, who don't have enough hot hitters to put together rallies and therefore have been bombs or bust.
It was the latter Saturday as the Brewers managed only six hits in a 5-1 loss to the Colorado Rockies at Coors Field.
Unable to follow up on their 16-hit attack, including two homers, that resulted in a 9-5 romp the previous evening, the Brewers fell to 4-30 when they don't go deep. It was the 34th time they scored two runs or fewer in this woeful season.
