Brewers fall to Royals, 6-3

A championship euphoria was still hanging over the city of Milwaukee this morning, the day after the Bucks clinched their first NBA Championship since 1971. Many people around the city and state were operating at less than 100% after a long night of celebration, and the Milwaukee Brewers played like a team who stayed up past their bedtime on Tuesday night.

The Brewers were charged with two errors during the finale of their short two-game series against the Royals, but could have reasonably had another several plays scored that way. Eric Lauer was solid for Milwaukee today, and actually left the game in line for the win.
