The Milwaukee Brewers fell to the Los Angeles Angels tonight in Anaheim, as the team’s offense continued their bizarre struggles with runners in scoring position. Milwaukee got out to an early lead but rookie starter Carlos F. Rodriguez, making his second career start, was unable to hold it, and the offense’s struggles prevented a late comeback.
The Brewers were scheduled to face flamethrower José Soriano this evening, but he was scratched due to abdominal pain and was replaced by right-hander Zach Plesac, nephew of Brewers legend Dan, making his first appearance of the season (and first with the Angels).
