The Milwaukee Brewers took on the Cleveland baseball team earlier this afternoon, with Adrian Houser making his spring debut for the Cactus Crew. He started things off with a scoreless frame, working around a “single” on a pop up to Keston Hiura at first base by getting a couple of groundouts and a punchout.
Eric Lauer, in competition for a rotation spot, was not quite as successful during his outing. He walked old friend Ben Gamel to lead things off, then served up a two-run homer to Yu Chang to make it 2-0. The next batter, Mike Freeman, also took Lauer deep to make it 3-0.
