Brewers drop series finale in Colorado, 4-3

Box Score

The Brewers were unable to mount any late offense against a struggling Rockies bullpen as they lost the series finale in Denver by a final of 4-3.

Colorado got things going right away against Tobias Myers, as a Charlie Blackmon single, a sacrifice bunt, and a ground-rule double by Ryan McMahon brought home a run for a 1-0 lead.

After a 1-2-3 inning that included a single by Sal Frelick before a double play off the bat of Rhys Hoskins in the second, the Rockies extended the lead to 3-0 with a walk, single, and two-RBI double from Blackmon.
