What figured to be a mundane matchup between the Milwaukee Brewers and Miami Marlins on Friday night instead turned out to be a highly entertaining affair.
Miami took a no-hitter into the ninth inning, only to watch the Brewers bring the potential winning run to the plate before they fell, 6-3, in front of a crowd of 23,215 at Miller Park.
The game also included a triple play, which the Brewers turned in the fifth inning behind starter Zach Davies.
Marlins starter Adam Conley entered the eighth at 100 pitches and struck out Ramon Flores.
