The Milwaukee Brewers took on the Los Angeles Angels in Spring Training action this afternoon. Corbin Burnes got the start on the mound for the Crew, while Andrew Heaney toed the rubber for the Angels.
Burnes looked good in this one. He covered 3.2 innings, struck out four and did not give up an earned run. Unfortunately he did give up an unearned run. It came in the bottom of the second. Justin Upton led off the inning with a line drive to left that fell in for a single.
With Upton on base, the Brewers might have been working on pick off moves, especially with Keston Hiura new to first base.
