The Milwaukee Brewers all but finalized their 25-man roster Saturday with a series of player moves including the signing of free-agent reliever Carlos Torres.
To make room for Torres on their 40-man roster, the Brewers moved outfielder Rymer Liriano (facial fractures) from the 15-day disabled list to the 60-day DL. They also placed reliever Corey Knebel on the 15-day DL with an oblique strain and optioned right-hander Tyler Cravy to Class AAA Colorado Springs.
Later in the day, the Brewers added veteran relievers Chris Capuano and Blaine Boyer to their roster as they indicated earlier in the week.
