As the Brewers looked to rebound from a rough loss on Thursday night, Friday’s game looked good to start. However, a 4-1 lead wasn’t enough for the Brewers to hold on to. The Padres rallied for eight runs in their last four innings, and the Brewers lost their second straight game 9-5.
The Padres got on the board first, using two singles and a groundout to bring in a run. They would hold on to that lead through the first four innings. In the fifth, Tyler Black led off the inning with a walk, then stole second.
