Since getting off to a hot start, the Brewers lost three straight games against the Padres and looked to avoid a sweep. Bryse Wilson took the mound for the Brewers while Michael King was on the mound for San Diego.
Both teams pitched masterfully in this one, as both teams were held scoreless until the eighth inning. Bryse Wilson went three and two thirds innings and allowed only 2 hits and a walk with two strikeouts. Bryan Hudson then came on and didn’t allow a hit in his two and one third innings only allowing one walk.
Elvis Peguero then came on in the top of the seventh, and didn’t allow a run but gave up two hits.
