Brewers avoid the sweep at the hands of the Mariners and win 4-2

In an afternoon affair in Miller Park, the Milwaukee Brewers avoid the sweep from the Seattle Mariners winning 4-2. Chase Anderson provided a solid starting performance going 5.1 innings giving up 3 hits, 2 runs (only 1 of which was earned) and struck out 6. After a rally in the sixth by Seattle, Matt Albers, Junior Guerra, and Josh Hader shut the door.

The Brewers did most of their scoring in the bottom of the fourth inning. Ryan Braun opened the inning by singling into centerfield. Braun would go to third on a double by Eric Thames. Mike Leake intentionally walked Travis Shaw hoping to set up a double play.
