The deal comes in a few hundred thousand dollars higher than the $1.7 million salary MLB Trade Rumors projected for Milner in arbitration this winter.
Friday is the deadline for teams and arbitration-eligible players to submit salary figures for 2024. The Brewers still have six such players who have not agreed to a new contract, and they’re likely to settle with more of those players in the coming days to avoid hearings.
