Brewers at Indians: Tuesday game report

u25a0 Brewers assistant general manager Gord Ash said left-hander Nathan Kirby, selected 40th overall by the Brewers in June, was placed on the disabled list at Class A Wisconsin with a sore left elbow that will necessitate an examination by team physician William Raasch.

Kirby missed much of his junior year at the University of Virginia with a strained muscle behind his pitching shoulder, and then had to accept a reduced signing bonus due to an undisclosed medical condition. The 21-year-old is 0-1 with a 5.68 ERA in five appearances (two starts, 122/3 innings) for the Timber Rattlers.
