It’s a move the Brewers all but announced they were going to make 10 days ago when they originally sent him down, but the full bullpen is getting yet another arm, as Devin Williams is re-joining the team today.
Williams was sent down at the end of August when the Brewers just needed some healthy offensive bodies when Keston Hiura got hurt and the team brought Travis Shaw and Ben Gamel back. At the time, the team basically assured Williams he would be back once his minimum 10 days in the minors after being sent down were up, and sure enough, here he is on September 10th.
