Twenty-one months of rehab and recovery and bullpen sessions have come to an end, and at this point, whether we see the 2017 Jimmy Nelson is mostly irrelevant. He’s beaten the odds of having shoulder surgery, and just making it back to a big league mound is a huge accomplishment and a testament to how hard he’s worked in that time.
