The Brewers will be Scahill's third team in three years.
The Brewers have announced the acquisition of right-handed pitcher Rob Scahill from the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Scahill was claimed on waivers and added to the 40 man roster, leaving no vacancies on that list. The 29 year old has pitched 104 innings in relief over five seasons, three with Colorado and two with the Pirates. He owns a career 3.89 ERA and 4.70 FIP. He's struck out 72 batters against 43 walks and allowed a WHIP of 1.52. He boasts a career 52.7% ground ball rate, though he has allowed 12 homers over his 104 innings.
