Goodyear, Ariz. — The Milwaukee Brewers made a series of roster moves Sunday as they continued the process of getting down to their 25-man roster for opening day.
Infielders Jake Elmore and Will Middlebrooks, catchers Josmil Pinto and Manny Piña and outfielders Eric Young Jr. and Shane Peterson were informed they wouldn't make the major-league team but will remain in camp before opening the season at Class AAA Colorado Springs. Reliever David Goforth was optioned to the Sky Sox.
Outfielder Ramon Flores and reliever Blaine Boyer were informed they made the Brewers' opening-day roster.
