That was bad. That wasn't good at all. That joke reeked. It was pun-gent.
The Mets have been really bad on offense basically all year, but they've gotten by because their pitching kind of kicks butt. As it happens, that was true today, as well. Jacob deGrom did what he wanted to Brewers batters, allowing just four hits over eight innings while striking out seven batters.
