MILWAUKEE -- Ryan Braun became the first Brewers player to crack the All-Star Game balloting leaderboard on Tuesday, running 13th among National League outfielders on the 2015 Esurance MLB All-Star Game Ballot.
Braun was red-hot in May, batting .272 with eight home runs and 28 RBIs in 29 games, but missed two games last week while undergoing a second cryotherapy treatment on his right thumb. Braun returned to the starting lineup on Saturday and hit his 13th home run.
Fans can cast their votes for starters at MLB.com and all 30 club sites -- on their computers, tablets and smartphones -- using the 2015 Esurance MLB All-Star Game Ballot until Thursday, July 2, at 10:59 p.
