Braun, Brewers seeking ASG voting push

MILWAUKEE -- Ryan Braun's recent hot streak has yet to make an impact at the virtual ballot box, as not a single Brewers player ranked among the leading vote-getters at his position when the first round of 2015 Esurance MLB All-Star Game Ballot results for the National League was released on Wednesday.

The Brewers have had multiple All-Stars eight times in the past nine years, including at least three representatives in seven of those seasons. But as of Wednesday, when Major League Baseball released the first of six weekly NL balloting updates, no Brewers infielder ranked among the top five at his position, and no outfielder ranked in the top 15, including Braun, who entered the day with 33 RBIs since April 28 -- tops in baseball during that span.
