MILWAUKEE -- The similarities between Brewers utility man Hernan Perez and shortstop Orlando Arcia are plentiful. Both native Venezuelans came into the league at age 21 as middle infielders (Perez in 2012, Arcia last year), and both have endured their struggles at the plate in their career. Both again struggled to catch fire at the outset of 2017. Now, it appears, both are finding their way out using a similar approach.
Arcia homered in back-to-back games for the first time in his career Thursday and Friday, and he entered Saturday's game hitting .313 with three homers over his past 10 games.
