The Milwaukee Brewers and the Detroit Tigers competed against one another in a baseball game this evening. Unfortunately not much went right for the Brewers tonight as the Tigers took this contest in a rout.
Any issues related to Milwaukee’s poor performance in this game and in this season start and end with their inability to hit. Their woeful hitting has the Brewers near the bottom of all MLB in most batting statistics. As I alluded to, that was no exception tonight. The bright spots were Ben Gamel who continues a hot bat, and Christian Yelich who hit a second deck bomb that accounted for their only run in the game.
