The Milwaukee Brewers officially announced their new stadium naming rights with Wisconsin-based American Family Insurance today, replacing Miller following the 2020 season.
The AmFam deal will begin in 2021 and last for 15 years. However, since the Brewers’ lease at Miller Park only runs through 2030, the last five years of the deal depend on an extension of the lease. Considering how long it takes to get a stadium built and the current political climate in the state, it seems like a reasonable bet — at least for now — that the “option” for those last five years are picked up.
