After last night’s game where the benches cleared and punches were thrown, MLB announced suspensions for the involved players and managers prior to this afternoon’s game against the Rays. For the Brewers, Abner Uribe was suspended for six games, Freddy Peralta for five games, and Pat Murphy for two games. Jose Siri of the Rays also received a three-game suspension. The three players are appealing, but Pat Murphy had to begin serving his suspension today. Siri is also serving a game of the suspension today, but hopes to have the length reduced. All were also fined an undisclosed amount.
