Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino insists his team are on the path to becoming one of the 'best in the world'

As he marked his 100th Premier League match in charge of Tottenham with a hard-fought win, it was a good opportunity for Mauricio Pochettino to reflect.

There’s no question that his two-and-a-half seasons at White Hart Lane have seen an elevation in standards, with Spurs evolving from a side you might expect to finish fifth or sixth to one assured of Champions League football.

By his 200th game, Pochettino said, he wants some silverware in the cabinet - but admitted it may take a little time yet.
