Stoke could have signed Manchester United target Victor Lindelof for £250,000

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is out to bolster his defence in January, and it looks as though he has found the perfect fit in Benfica star Victor Lindelof.

The 22-year-old has been valued at a staggering £38million, a sizeable chunk more than the price Stoke City scoffed at when they were offered the centre back at the age of 17.

However, if his old Sweden team-mate and United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is to be believed, Lindelof will be worth every penny. Here, Sportsmail looks closely at the man on verge of a move to Old Trafford.
