Millwall have signed teenage forward Ajay Matthews from fellow Championship side Middlesbrough for an undisclosed fee.
The 18-year-old has agreed what the Lions say is a "long-term contract" at The Den.
The England Under-17 striker made two substitute appearances in the Championship late last season as well as featuring in Boro's academy team.
"Ajay's an old-fashioned centre-forward who we've identified as having a number of positive attributes already for his young age," Millwall director of football Steve Gallen told the club website., external
