Middlesbrough are unbeaten in their last six games but face the sternest of tests this evening as Championshipleaders Wolves visit the Riverside Stadium.
The Reds currently occupy the last play-off place but that could change before kick-off with Preston, Bristol City and Sheffield United all playing beforehand.
Wolves could see their six point lead at the top of the Championship chopped to three by Cardiff earlier in the day. The Bluebirds, who have a game in hand, meet Burton at 3pm.
Four wins from their final eight matches will be enough to secure automatic promotion.
