Aitor Karanka has praised the quality of his Middlesbrough squad after they gave their boss his first win as a Premier League manager.
Boro beat Tees-Wear derby rivals Sunderland at the Stadium of Light on Sunday to continue their promising start to the season, having now claimed four points from their first two games of the new campaign.
Cristhian Stuani, a £3million signing from Espanyol this summer, scored twice on his Boro debut to seal a 2-1 victory over the Black Cats – a result which lifts Middlesbrough up to sixth in the table.
