Middlesbrough owner Steve Gibson moves for former West Brom boss Tony Pulis to lead Championship side after dismissing Garry Monk

Boro boss Garry Monk and Wednesday counterpart Carlos Carvalhal were dismissed afterwards and now both clubs have Tony Pulis on their radar.

Middlesbrough owner Steve Gibson moved immediately for Pulis, recently sacked by West Brom, and hopes to rubberstamp the appointment within the next 72 hours.
