Middlesbrough have been charged by the Football Association for failing to ensure that their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion in the 2-2 draw against Manchester City on Sunday.
A number of Middlesbrough players reacted after City were awarded a penalty in the second half, complaining that Leroy Sane went down under the challenge of Marten de Roon too easily.
Sergio Aguero scored the resulting penalty to level the game at 1-1, with City again coming from behind to secure the 2-2 draw through an 85th-minute equaliser from Gabriel Jesus -- a result that left Middlesbrough six points adrift of safety with three games of the Premier League season to go.
