Clement Grenier has snubbed interest from Middlesbrough and West Ham to join Roma on loan, according to reports in Italy.
The midfielder has been told he can leave Lyon during the current transfer window after making just four league appearances this season.
Both West Ham and Middlesbrough have expressed an interest in the Frenchman, who has been linked with Arsenal in the past.
However, according to Sky Sport Italia, Grenier has agreed to join Roma on loan for the rest of the season.
The Italian club can also reportedly make the 26-year-old's move permanent in the summer if they cough up £3m.
